Eccomi di nuovo amici! Sono il vostro Teddy! Per fortuna qualcuno si è curato di raccontarvi cosa ho combinato, visto e visitato negli ultimi tempi, perchè essendo sempre a zonzo per Londra sono stato occupatissimo!
Questa volta però riprendo la parola perchè ho ricevuto una visita davvero molto gradita! E' venuta a trovarmi tutta la mia famiglia! Papà orso, mamma orsa e quell'orsetto di mio fratello! Quanto è bello ritrovarsi tutti quanti dopo mesi passati lontani.
Per l'occasione abbiamo deciso di andare tutti insieme all'Isola di Wight, che molti di voi ricorderanno per la famosa canzone dei Dik Dik, così come chi ha negli occhi il blu della gioventù, abbiamo preso il traghetto da Portsmouth e abbiamo raggiunto l'isola in una bella giornata di sole.
Non poteva mancare una passeggiata fino alle Needles Old Batteries, uno dei punti più a ovest dell'Isola, con un tratto di costa mozzafiato e la roccia che fuoriesce dal mare, davvero imperdibile, oltre che importante punto di difesa militare alla fine del 1800.
Attraversando l'isola si passa per Newport, la cittadina principale dell'isola, vivace e piacevole da vedere.
Vista la bellissima giornata di sole però, per pranzo abbiamo evitato il miele per questa volta e ci siamo diretti a The Spyglass Inn, a Ventnor, dove abbiamo ripulito enormi cozze e scampi appena pescati godendo di una bellissima vista sul mare.
La giornata è volata via, velocemente come accade a tutti i momenti più belli, lasciando fotografie e ricordi che trovano il loro prezioso posticino nel cuore.
Here I am again friends! I'm your Teddy ! Luckily someone took care to tell you what I've done , seen and visited in recent times, because being always wandering around London have been busy !
This time , however, I take the word because I received a very welcome visit ! It came to see my whole family ! Papa Bear , Mama Bear and that bear little of my brother ! How nice to be everyone after months away .
For the occasion, we decided to go all together to the Isle of Wight , we took the ferry from Portsmouth and we have reached the island in a beautiful sunny day.
We could not miss a stroll down to the Needles Old Batteries , one of the most westerly island, with a stretch of breathtaking coastline and the rock that comes from the sea, should not be missed , as well as an important point of the military defense at the end of 1800.
Crossing the island you go to Newport , the main town of the island, lively and pleasant to see.
View the beautiful sunny day though, for lunch we avoided the honey for this time and we headed to The Spyglass Inn, Ventnor , where we cleaned up huge mussels and shrimp freshly caught enjoying a beautiful view of the sea.
The day has flown away , as fast as happens to all the best moments , leaving photographs and memories that find their precious little place in my heart.
